MAPLE TASTE & TOUR DAYS,

MARCH 20-21, 2010

The Edinboro Area Historical Society is sponsoring the two-day First Annual Maple Festival on March 20 & 21st at the Edinboro Fire Hall at 125 Meadville Street. The hours for each day are 10AM to 4PM. Tickets are $7 for adults and $3 for children 12 & under. This includes pancakes and sausage with local maple syrup. The event benefits the EAHS as well as the Edinboro Volunteer Fire Department. In addition, there will be an Arts & Crafts show along with live music. Support your local sustainable agricultural neighbors, hum to the tunes and visit with your neighbors & friends!

The event is sponsored in part by the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture (PASA) and the NW Maple Producers Association, an organization that covers 5 counties in northwestern Pennsylvania. The maple producers are also holding their 7th Annual Taste and Tour event this same weekend. Visitors can tour sugarhouses and see how maple syrup and other maple products are made.
