Giving to the Edinboro Area Historical Society

There are many ways you can show your financial support to the Edinboro Area Historical Society.

The Capital Campaign for the Doucette House

The Doucette House Campaign is our capital campaign to raise matching funds to the generosity of Edward & Forrest Doucette, whose original gift to the Society includes their support to restore the House over a period of twelve (12) years. Your contribution to this fund ensures that the Society will be able to maintain and preserve the headquarters for years to come.

Remembering the Society in your will

Have you considered including the EAHS in your will. It is more than a document providing for the dispositionof your assets. It is an expression of your love and commitment to those people and groups that you most cherish. A bequest to the Edinboro Area Historical Society ensures that your devotion to the history of our area will continue after you are gone.

Our Suggested wording for a bequest would be as follows:

I give and bequeath to the Edinboro Area Historical Society, a not-for-profit corporation, ___% of the residue of my estate [or, the sum of $_____] for its charitable and educational purposes."

The EAHS also accepts gifts of appreciated stock and other assets. For more information, please contact us via telephone at 814-734-6109, or by writing to us at our postal address.

In anticipation of your generosity, we thank you truly for your support for your local historical Society and for its future.

Buy-A-Brick Campaign

As the Society has laid new brick for walkways and general improvements in the appearance of the Doucette House headquarters, you have the opportunity to have a brick engraved with your name or a loved one and placed during the renovation.
